EASTON ICE HOCKEY GLOVES - THUMB PROTECTION
Both flex and fixed lock thumb guard inserts designed for Easton Ice Hockey gloves. Although simple looking items, competitor research, in-depth research through the minefield of Patents and careful analysis were carried out to to ensure that our designs were not infringing in competitor designs. Extensive discussions were held with the patent lawyer to ensure the new designs were safe for production.
The project involved design and re-engineering of the flex hinge, 3D CAD modelling, rapid-prototyping, tech-packs, fit testing inside gloves and impact testing by players.
